I’m Julie Burgevin, a licensed massage therapist with 21 years experience as a therapeutic massage practitioner in Gainesville, Florida.

During my massage sessions, I believe that awareness and the healing intention of the giver and receiver are paramount for healing to take place. My desire as a massage therapist and healing practitioner is to aid and facilitate loving care towards ourselves and the world as a whole through touch, acceptance, and compassion. Addressing  causes of pain and stress,  are of course a part of compassionate self care.

I’ve helped my massage clients by relieving their pain and discomfort associated with AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and fibromyalgia. Many of my clients have found relief from symptoms related to repetitive stress, automobile injuries, and chronic discomfort.

My Therapeutic Massage Education and Experience

My interest in massage and holistic health began when I received chiropractic care as an adolescent. As an adult, I explored healing methods including western and Ayurvedic herbal medicines, homeopathy, and whole foods nutrition that I’ve used in my personal and professional life.

I have practiced in both New York and Florida in massage clinics, neurology and osteopathy medical clinics, office, home and on-site corporate massage.
