Gainesville Massage Therapy provides relaxation and therapeutic massage sessions that are designed to help with a variety of health conditions and client needs. Julie’s philosophy is that all massages are therapeutic. The types of massages provided are listed below so you can see what’s best for your specific health condition or situation.

• Relaxation Massage – typically referred to as Swedish Massage, where the emphasis is on long, flowing strokes, aided by more lubrication of oils. Many modalities are relaxing, including the indirect methods such as Ortho-Bionomy, Cranio-Sacral, and Reiki.
• Therapeutic Massage – deeper, more specific massage therapy and modalities, such as Neuromuscular, Sports techniques, Connective Tissue, Orthopedic treatment of injuries.
• Corporate and Event Chair Massage – Chair massage, also known as seated massage, is an excellent and convenient way to bring massage to you! 10-30 minute massages are done for employees either in an office setting or at events, such as health fairs. Clients are treated in a chair designed for massage. The massage can be done very easily through clothing, using no lotions. Typically, the environment is a small conference room or office, set aside for the employees. Employees rotate through on their breaks, avoiding work disruption. For large events, such as sporting, fund raising, and health fairs, massage is done out in the open.
• On-site Chair Massage – In addition to the larger events with large businesses, Julie can bring her chair to homes or other locations. Typically, she can set up for parties for a special occasion, or for marketing sales.
• In Home Massage – Massage therapy provided in the client’s homes at their convenience. Prices reflect the extra time and travel.
• Gift Certificates – Massage gift certificates are available for special occasions or other gift-giving celebrations. You can give the gift of relaxation and healing to a mother-to-be, new mother, family, friend, or as a reward to a co-worker or boss.

Relaxing and Deep Tissue Massage

• 30 minute massage – $40
• 60 minute massage – $70
• 90 minute massage – $105

Medically Prescribed Massage

For many kinds of conditions, massage is covered by most people’s insurance. One must have a a prescription of referral from a referring physician or chiropractor in order that massage be covered. Julie is a BCBS provider, bills Auto Insurance Claims, Worker’s Compensation, and others, provided the individual’s policy covers massage. In Home Massage

• 60 minute massage – $100
• 90 minute massage – $135

Corporate and Event Chair Massage

Gainesville Massage Therapy knows you are busy and may not have time to travel to our office for a stress-reducing chair massage. That’s why we’ve created these special offers for your convenience.

Employer Pricing

Employers who would like to offer on-site chair massages to their employees will be charged at the following discounted rates:

2 hours (minimum) – $80 per hour

• 3-4 hours – $75 per hour
• 5-6 hours – $70 per hour
• 7-8 hours – $500 Daily

Employee Pricing

Employees who would like a chair massage at their work site will be charged at the following discounted rates:

• 10 minutes – $15
• 15 minutes – $20
• 20 minutes – $25
• 25 minutes – $30
• 30 minutes – $35

On Going Specials

• Series Discount #1 – 5 massages or more at $55/massage.  This massage is designed for one person only. If however, you have family visiting, or wish to gift one on occasion, that is acceptable.
• Series Discount #2 – A Year’s Worth of Massages for $2,250! This series includes 50 massages and saves $1,250 from the regular massage rate. This massage series can be divided between 1 – 3 individuals.

Massage Series Expiration Dates All Massage Series have expiration dates because they are designed for regular clients who want established appointments booked on a weekly or biweekly basis. Once the massage series expires, clients must pay the difference between the discount and current rates.

Gainesville Massage Therapy understands that sometimes appointments have to be cancelled because of life events. Clients who purchase the massage series who may have to cancel are encouraged to reschedule right away so that they can get the optimum benefit out of purchasing the massage series.

Massage Gift Certificates for All Occasions

A massage gift certificate can be a unique way to celebrate a special occasion or offer a gift of relaxation and healing for someone who needs it during a stressful time. Massage gift certificates are available for birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s day, Valentine’s day, and Christmas.

Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your appointment without charge with at least 24 hours notice of your scheduled appointment.
• Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price.
• If you do not call to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service.
